WARWICK, RI — A Warwick scratch ticket winner is $75,000 richer after claiming his prize on the “Mega Crossword” Instant Game ticket, purchased at Dan’s Convenience, 2699 Post Rd., Warwick.

The winner, who was not identified, said he enjoys the game and plans to use his winnings to pay bills, according to the RI Lottery.

In related lottery winnings news, a woman from Johnston won $50,000 playing The Numbers Game at Convenience Plus, 1243 Atwood Ave., Johnston, for the August 29, 2025, Evening drawing. She wagered $5 on two 4-digit straight bets, winning $25,000 on each.
