WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the Warwick RI Trooper Log   Oct. 9 -16 involved charges against four, for illegal weapons, DUI, and child molestation.

 

 

Warwick RI Trooper Log: Warwick Arrests Oct. 9 – 18

Warwick RI Trooper Log arrests included Warwick arrests and Warwick area arrests for illegal weapons, DUI, forgery and one man arrested on child porn and child molestation charges.

DUI, Rte. 95 At 11:03 p.m. Oct. 12, troopers arrested Georgia Gates, 31, of 2000 Ministerial Road, Wakefield, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick.

Gates was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Missed court, domestic disorderly conduct  The Warwick RI Trooper Log reports that on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024 at 4:16 p.m., troopers arrested Frank W. Kosiba III, 57, of 163 Widow Sweet Road, Exeter, Rhode Island for an active Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre- Trial Conference on the original charge of Domestic Disorderly originating out of the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a warrant check at Mr. Kosiba III’s residence. Mr. Kosiba III was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men’s Intake Center.

Forgery, counterfeiting On Monday, Oct. 14, at 9:34 a.m., troopers arrested Randall L. Medeiros, 32, of 325 West Avenue, Apt. 2, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1) Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates 2) Driving with Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License 4th and Subsequent Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Tanglewood Drive in the Town of West Warwick. Medeiros was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released pending a future third division district court date.

Illegal weapons At 4:22 p.m. Oct. 15, troopers arrested Charles Dobson, 52, of 111 Hope St., Bridgeport, Connecticut for three Counts of Weapons Other than Firearms Prohibited.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center pending morning arraignment as a probation violator.

Missed court, domestic assault On Oct. 17, at 2:38 a.m., troopers arrested Dominic Alves, 27, of 261 Warren Ave., East Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Determination of Attorney on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. 2.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue in the City of Providence. Alves was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.

Child porn, child molestation On Oct. 16, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Jeremy Giguere, 37, of 26 Law Street, Warwick, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) First-Degree Child Molestation; 2) Production of Child Pornography; and 3) Possession of Child Pornography.

Giguere was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, held without bail, and transported to the ACI.
