Warwick RI Trooper Log Arrests Dec. 4 – 13
Rte. 95 stop, DUI charge At 11 p.m. Dec. 9, troopers arrested Richard Farrands, 32, of 62 Turner Ave., Riverside, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick.
Farrands was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
Cocaine, Illegal firearm possession On Dec. 13, at 5 a.m., members of the Intelligence Unit, Violent Fugitive Task Force (VFTF), Auto Theft Unit, ACI Investigations, and Uniform Bureau arrested Leonard Liriano, age 26, of 128 Garden Street Apartment #1, Cranston, Rhode Island for 1.) Manufacturing, Delivery, Possession with Intent to Deliver (Cocaine), 2.) Controlled Substance Conspiracy, 3.) Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Controlled Substance Violation, 4.) Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of a Crime of Violence, and 5.) Possession of a Stolen Firearm.
This arrest was the result of an investigation by the Intelligence Unit and subsequent search warrant. Mr. Liriano was arraigned in Sixth Division District Court and held without bail as a Superior Court probation violator.
This is a test
