Warwick Arrests July 2025: Assault, DUI, Larceny

WARWICK, RI — WPD July 2025 Warwick arrests included charges for DUI, larceny, domestic violence, prohibited weapons and assault/injury of a person older than 60.

Warwick Police made 187 arrests during this period, according to Warwick Police records. Below are the  basic details of specific Warwick arrests, followed by the numbers of arrests for each charge.

 

July 2025 Warwick Arrests Details

Prohibited weapons, resisting arrest On July 8, at 10:46 p.m., Officer Charles Walker arrested Andrew J. Costa, 36, of 109 Winter Ave., Apt. 3, Warwick, RI, charging him with Weapons Other Than Firearms – Prohibited, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing an Officer. He was arraigned on the charges in Third Division District Court July 9 and released on a $4,000 surety bond with a no-trespass condition. He appeared July 25 for a pre-trial conference and was released on a $1,000 surety bond. He is scheduled for another pre-trial conference Sept. 5. 

Assault & Injury of a Person Older Than 60 On July 17 at 3:31 p.m., Officer Nicholas W Fabiano arrested Thomas Anderson, 63, of 25 Smith St., Warwick, RI,  charging him with Assault of a Person Older Than 60 Causing Injury. Anderson was released the same day on $5,000 personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Third District Court for arraignment Aug. 14.

Larceny Less than $1,500 On July 24 at 12:03 p.m., Officer Michael Giorgio arrested Catherine Gregory, 63, of  115 Bay View Drive, Jamestown, RI,  charging her with Larceny Less Than $1,500. She is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges in Third District Court on Aug. 21.

Larceny Greater Than $1,500 On July 14 at 7:51 a.m., Officer Officer Jonathan Lee arrested  Luis Vicente Calcano Acevedo, 53, of 100 Atwells Ave., Apt. 1105, Providence, RI charging him with Larceny Greater Than $1,500 and Less Than $5,000. He wass arraigned on the charge in Third District Court the same day and released on $3,000 personal recognizance and scheduled for an Oct. 6 court screening.
