Rte. 95 stop, DUI charge At 10:26 p.m. Dec. 7, troopers Josh Jenkins, 48, of 202 Washington Ave., Apt. 1, Providence, RI for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – B.A.C Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Jenkins was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third Division District Court.
Rte. 95 crash, DUI charge At 12:25 a.m., troopers arrested Maxine Bergeron, 27, of 77 Rockcrest Drive, Cranston, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – B.A.C Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.
This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Route 95 in the City of Warwick.
Bergeron was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear at Third Division District Court.
Quaker Lane stop, DUI charge At 11:26 p.m. Dec. 8, troopers arrested Valarie Cochran, 58, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – B.A.C Unknown – Second Offense, 2.) Driving With a Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License – Certain Violations, and 3.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Quaker Lane in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where she was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third Division District Court.
Reckless driving charge On Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 10:35 a.m., troopers arrested Shakil Velazquez, 23, of 14 Burton St., Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Eluding Law Enforcement in a High-Speed Pursuit – First Offense, 2.) Reckless Driving – First Offense and 3.) Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty.
This arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and Velazquez turning himself into the Lincoln Woods Barracks. Velazquez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later arraigned at the Sixth Division District Court.
Child Porn Possession arrest On Dec. 9, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Adrien Hebert, 43, of 1020 West Shore Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, for Possession of Child Pornography.
Hebert was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and to Third Division District Court. Mr. Hebert was arraigned before the Honorable Magistrate Ippolito and held as a bail violator, in addition to being given forty-five (45) days to serve for a probation. violation.
Unlicensed pistol, illegal firearm device On Dec. 9, 2025, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Aiden Conn, age 19, of 99 Gray Lawn Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) License or Permit Required for Carrying a Pistol; and 2) Possession of a Device that Renders a Firearm Fully Automatic.
Conn was taken into custody without incident, transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released.
Domestic violence arrest On Dec. 10, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Michael Sabatino, 23, of 64 Mayfair Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Warwick Police Department for the following: 1) Domestic Violence – Violation of No Contract Order – Felony; and 2) Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
Sabatino was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Warwick Police Department.
Illegal marijuana possession At 11:15 p.m. Dec. 12, troopers arrested Sergio Alvarez, 23, of 90 Leading St., Johnston, RI for 1.) Possession of Marijuana – More than Two Ounces.
This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bald Hill Road in the City of Warwick.
Alvarez was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Third Division District Court date.
