

WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the Warwick RI Trooper Log Aug. 22 – involved charges for reckless driving, DUI, domestic B&E, and domestic assault.

RI Trooper Log Warwick Arrests Aug. 22 –
Reckless Driving, Hit & Run On Sunday Aug. 24, at 9:21 p.m., troopers arrested Anthony Tobar Mazariegos, 25 of 203 Pettaconsett Ave. Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Leaving the Scene of an Accident Damage to Attended Vehicle, 2.) Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty, and 3.) Reckless Driving- 1st Offense.
The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle crash on Rte. 95 in the City of Providence, where the occupants fled on foot. Tobar Mazariegos was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court
Tollgate Road Stop, Domestic Assault Warrant At 5:05 p.m. Aug. 25, troopers arrested Andrew Sousa, 25, of 55 Legris Ave., Pawtucket, was arrested on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Simple Assault and Battery originating out of the North Smithfield Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Tollgate Road in Warwick. Sousa was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and then turned over to the North Smithfield Police Department.
Missed Court, Stalking & Domestic B&E On Aug. 26, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Brian Perez, age 31, of 89 Frawley Street, Warwick, Rhode Island, on two Superior Court Bench Warrants for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation hearings for Stalking Prohibited and Domestic Breaking and Entering. Mr. Perez was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Providence Superior Courthouse.
Warwick Crash, DUI At 4:08 a.m. Aug. 27, troopers arrested Alexander Damiani, age 34, of 60 Utica Street, Clinton, New York for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – First Offense.
This arrest was the result of Troopers assisting North Kingston Police Department with an accident investigation on Post Road, in the City of Warwick. Damiani was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace and released to a responsible adult with a future Third Division District Court date.
