RI Trooper Log Warwick Arrests Aug. 27 –
Erratic driver stop, DUI charge At 11:51 p.m. Aug. 27, troopers arrested Sarah Manning, 40, of 330 Diamond Hill Road, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drug – BAC Unknown – First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – First Offense.
The arrest was the result of troopers responding to an erratic operator and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Manning was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to a responsible adult with a future Third Division District Court date.
Wanted for controlled substance charge On Sunday Aug. 31, 2025, at 1:46 a.m., troopers arrested Jessica Thibault, 36, of 3188 Post Road, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Two Superior Court Full Bench Warrants for the original charge of Possession of a Schedule I to V Controlled Substance originating out of the Providence Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Broad Street in the City of Central Falls. Thibault was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Women’s Intake Center.
East Avenue Stop, DUI charge At 9:47 p.m. Sept. 2, troopers arrested Glenn Bruhn, 37, of 59 Estelle Boulevard, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – First Offense and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.
The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in the City of Warwick. Bruhn was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
Felony Shoplifting Charges, Multiple Towns On Sept. 2, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Scott T. Brown, age 58, of 47 Oakland Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, on the following:
1) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Warwick Police Department for Felony Shoplifting;
2) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Cranston Police Department for Felony Shoplifting;
3) Providence County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on an original charge of Domestic Violence originating from the Smithfield Police Department;
4) Providence County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on an original charge of Domestic Violence originating from the Cranston Police Department;
5) Second District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on an original charge of Obstruction originating from the Middletown Police Department;
6) Newport County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an original charge of Felony Shoplifting originating from the Middletown Police Department;
7) Washington County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an original charge of Felony Shoplifting originating from the North Kingstown Police Department;
8) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an original charge of Felony Shoplifting originating from the Warwick Police Department;
9) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on an original charge of Obtaining Property by False Pretense originating from the Warwick Police Department; and
10) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on an original charge of Obtaining Property by False Pretense originating from the Warwick Police Department. Mr. Brown was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Warwick Police Department.
Domestic Assault At 3:25 p.m. Sept. 5, troopers arrested Daril Geisser, 32, of 80 Posnegansett Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Domestic Simple Assault and 2.) Domestic Disorderly Conduct originating out of the Narragansett Police Department. This arrest was the result of Troopers locating the subject under the 24-hour domestic rule.
Geisser was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Narragansett Police Department.
