COVENTRY, RI — Coventry arrests and other Kent County arrests in the RI Trooper Log  April 28 – May 1  involved charges for driving without a license and forged plates.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police Coventry arrests and other Kent County arrests:

Kent County & Coventry Arrests

Driving with no license On Monday, April 28, 2025 at 1:48 a.m., troopers arrested Homero D. Brito,  48, of 14 Lambert St., Coventry, Rhode Island for Driving After Denial, Revocation, or Suspension for Certain Violations.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Weaver Street in West Warwick. Homero was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Third Division District Court date.

At 8:36 a.m. May 1, troopers arrested Alberth Zelaya, 35, of 109 Taylor St., Trenton Avenue, NJ, for Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in West Greenwich. Zelaya was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.
