Kent County, Coventry Arrests Oct. 26 – Nov. 1
Missed Court, Suspended License On Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025 at 10:01 a.m., troopers arrested Joseph Guindon, 30, of 45 Sherwood Valley Lane, Coventry, RI, for a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear for arraignment, on the original charge of Driving with Suspended/Revoked License originating out of the Scituate Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Epworth Avenue in the Town of West Warwick. Guindon was processed at the State Police Wickford Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court date.
DUI, Rte. 4 Stop On Monday, Oct. 27, at 12:58 a.m., troopers arrested Christopher Baker, 36, of 101 Country Side Lane, Riverside, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC Unknown – 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 South in the Town of East Greenwich.
Baker was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult with a future Third District Court date.
Cocaine Possession, Intent to Deliver On Monday, Oct. 27, at 12:10 p.m., troopers arrested Hector M. Viruet Hernandez, 42, of 1576 Main Street Apartment C, West Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I-IV Controlled Substance (Cocaine) – 3rd + Offense, 2.) Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I-IV Controlled Substance (Cocaine) – 1st Offense, 3.) Distribution or Manufacturing in or Near Schools – 1st Offense, and 4.) Weapons Other Than Firearms Prohibited.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in West Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending arraignment at Third Division District Court.
Suspended License, Coventry Stop On Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 8:20 p.m., troopers arrested Ranfi Castillo, 35, of 70 Harris Ave., Apt. 1, Cranston, Rhode Island on a Fourth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Driving with Suspended/ Revoked/ Cancelled License – Fourth or Subsequent Offense originating out of Richmond Police Department.
This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on New London Turnpike, in Coventry. Castillo was processed at the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Fourth Division District Court date.
DUI, WG Stop On Saturday, Nov. 01, 2025 at 1:40 a.m., troopers arrested Erick Pisconte Ramos, 24, of 446 Northwich Avenue, Taftville, CT for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs – BAC .10 to .15 – First Offense (Phase I: 0.146 BAC, Phase II: 0.149 BAC). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in the Town of West Greenwich.
Pisconte Ramos was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
