[CREDIT:DEM] Trout fishing season opened early April 6 in Rhode Island. DEM has begun a trout season social distancing program this year to prevent COVID-19 spread. This year, the Golden Trout promotion will be extended. Anglers have until Sept. 1 to send photos to qualify for a golden trout pin.
