COVENTRY, RI — Town Council VP Verducci declared a local Emergency Tuesday people dig out following the blizzard,that dropped 32 – 33.5 inches of snow.
Warwick, RI — Grocery, hardware, and supply stores reported brisk business ahead of this week’s storm — and the city’s crews were gearing up for a potentially long couple of days.
The National Weather Service’s Winter Weather Advisory warns of 1-4 inches of snow with a layer of ice on Saturday, and Warwick’s Highway Chief says the city’s plow fleet is ready for it.
