WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the RI Trooper Log  April 28 – May 3 involved charges for larceny and vehicle tampering and a fugitive on an assault charge.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police Warwick arrests:

Warwick arrests: Conspiracy, Larceny, Vehicle Tampering On May 2, 2024, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Yahir Rodriguez, age 20, of 86 Hawkins Street 1st Floor, Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Warwick Police Department for the following: 1) Felony Larceny (5 counts); 2) Felony Conspiracy (5 counts); and 3) Tampering with Vehicles (2 counts).

Rodriguez was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Providence Police Department.

Warwick arrests: Fugitive on Attleboro Assault Charge At 2:45 p.m. May 2, Troopers arrested Amanda Shippee, age 38, of 1346 Newport Avenue, Apartment #B20, Attleboro, Massachusetts for 1.) Fugitive from Justice of the State of Massachusetts, and 2.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of the Attleboro Police Department on the original charge of Assault.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Airport Road, in the City of Warwick. Shippee was transported to the Wickford Barracks where she was processed and later turned over to the Women’s Intake Center (ACI) as a Fugitive from Justice.
