
WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the RI Trooper Log Aug. 2 -9 involved charges for a stolen & illegal firearm and other firearms charges, cocaine & fentanyl possession with distribution intent, and sending a minor indecent material.

Stolen, illegal firearm, prohibited large capacity devices, cocaine possession On July 29, 2024, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Kelvin Mayorga, 31, of 3430 Post Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession of a Stolen Firearm; 2) Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation; 3) Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation; 4) Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation; 5) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Cocaine; 6) Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited; 7) Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited; and 8) Delivery of a Controlled Substance in a School Zone. Mr. Mayorga was transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, then turned over to the ACI Intake Center pending his morning arraignment in Third Division District Court.
Providence stop, DUI charge On Saturday, Aug. 3, at 10:57 a.m., troopers arrested Wendy Baker, 48, of 73 Elwin St., Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – BAC Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – Second Offense, 3) Driving with a Suspended License – Special Circumstances and 4.) Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bergen Street, in Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace as a bail violator, and later transported to the ACI – Women’s Intake, pending a future court date at Sixth Division District Court.
Missed court, suspended license charge On Saturday, Aug. 3, at 10:50 p.m., troopers arrested Dylan Diaz, 27, of 87 10 Manomet St., Providence, RI for an active 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Driving With a Suspended/ Revoked License originating out of Warwick Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 6 in Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters for processing and turned over to Adult Correctional Facility- Men’s Intake.
Wanted in KY, Cranston, Warwick On Aug. 6, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Michael Shutt, 59, of 575 Dyer Avenue #11, Cranston, Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Cranston Police Department for Failure to Register as a Level III Sex Offender; 2) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Warwick Police Department for Shoplifting; and 3) Fugitive from Justice out of the State of Kentucky for Assault on a Police Officer and Fraud.
Shutt was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Cranston Police Department for his arraignment.
Fentanyl, cocaine, intent to distribute On Aug. 6, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Julio Soto, 42, of 30 Guilford Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession With the Intent to Deliver 1 oz – 1 kilo of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl; 2) Possession With the Intent to Deliver 1 oz – 1 kilo of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Cocaine; 3) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl; 4) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Cocaine; and 5) Controlled Substance Conspiracy.
Soto was processed at the Lincoln Barracks, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and turned over to the ACI Intake Center pending his morning arraignment in Sixth District Court.
Indecent material to minor On Aug. 7, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Justin S. Lomastro, 23, of 19 Dayton Ct., North Kingstown, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Warwick Police Department for Electronically Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor. Mr. Lomastro was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Warwick Police Department.
Missed court, suspended license charge On Aug. 8, at 11:45 a.m., troopers arrested Michael S. Adams, 47, of 16 Gerald Ave., Coventry, Rhode Island for 1.) A Fourth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the Original Charge of Driving with a Suspended License, and 2.) Driving with Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License 4th or Subsequent Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of East Greenwich. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and later transported to Fourth District Court.
Obtaining property, credit card by false pretenses On Aug. 8, at 3:30 p.m., troopers arrested Adam J. Peiczarka, 48, of 110 Goldfinch Drive Apartment #111, Coventry Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses / Personation, 2.) Obtaining Credit Card through Fraudulent means, 3.) Conspiracy, 4.) Fraudulent Use of Credit Card. The arrest was a result of a Barracks investigation and the subject subsequently being located at 66A Mail Road in the Town of Exeter.
Peiczarka was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Fourth Division District Court date.
