WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log Warwick arrests March 23 – 29 involved charges for DUI and cocaine possession, stemming from stops on Rte. 95 in the city.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI charge At 12:28 a.m. March 23, troopers arrested Jeremy Laury, 47 of 2053 Tower Hill Road, Saunderstown, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs-BAC Unknown, 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick.
Laury was transported to the barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released into the custody of a responsible adult.
Rte. 95 stop, no license, cocaine At 3:57 p.m. March 24, troopers arrested George Otero, 20, of 60 Spring St. Manville, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less (Cocaine) and 2.) Sixth District Court HWOB Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Driving Without a License originating out of the Cumberland Police Department.
Th aerrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Mr. Otero was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, and later transported to Adult Correctional Institute – Men’s Intake Center.
Rte. 95 Stop, DUI charge At 1:02 a.m. March 25, troopers arrested Carlos Dominguez Gomez, 23 of 235 Main St., East Greenwich, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs-BAC Unknown, 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Gomez was transported to the barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released into the custody of a responsible adult.
Missed court, vandalism charge At 12:57 p.m. March 25, troopers arrested Jeronimo Toj, 37, of 28 Margin St., New Bedford, Massachusetts for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Review on the original charge of Vandalism originating out of the Warwick Police Department.
The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the Division of Motor Vehicles to take custody of the subject. Toj was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to Third District Court arraignment.
Unregistered sex offender On March 26, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested David W. Pope, 59, last known address of 121 Lawn St., Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Providence Police Department for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
Pope was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Warwick Police Department.
