WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the Warwick RI Trooper Log  April 15 – 20 involved charges including possessing an unlicensed pistol and high-capacity ammo feed, assault, and suspended licenses.

RI Trooper Log Warwick Arrests April 15  – 22

Rte. 95 stop, suspended license At 10 a.m. April 15, troopers arrested Molong Vongkanya, 43, of 35 Byron St., Cranston, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving After Denial/Revocation/Suspension of License Certain Violations – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Vongkanya was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where she was processed and then transported to Third Division District Court for her arraignment.

Illegal High Ammo Device, No Pistol Carry Permit On April 16, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Tyler Defosse, 29, of 144 Stillwater Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) License or Permit Required to Carry a Pistol; 2) Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited; 3) Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited; and 4) Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited. Mr. Defosse was transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending future Third District Court dates.

Simple Assault On Saturday April 19, 2025, at 3:33 p.m., troopers arrested Amber O’Connell, 34, of 93 Sims Road, Quincy, MA, for a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Simple Assault, out of the Warwick Police Department.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Public Street, in the City of Providence. O’Connell was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Corrections Institutions Women’s Intake Center.

Forgery, counterfeit plates On Tuesday, April 22, at 1:54 p.m., troopers arrested Jason M. Silveira, 44, of 100 Wisteria Drive, Coventry, RI for 1.) Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bald Hill Road, Warwick. Silveira was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court date.
