COVENTRY, RI — Coventry arrests and other Kent County arrests in the RI Trooper Log  Jan. 29 – Feb. 28 involved charges for DUI, fraud, larceny and possession of crack and fentanyl.

Wanted in MA for Larceny On Jan. 29, 2025, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged David Nadeau, 60, last known address of 72 Gough Ave., Apartment #27, West Warwick, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with original offense(s) of: 1) Conspiracy; 2) Larceny over $1,200; and 3) Receiving Stolen Property over $1,200. Mr. Nadeau was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

Wanted in WW, felony assault At 1:04 p.m. Feb, 2, troopers arrested Dana Mackinnon, 31, of 24 Fenner St., Providence, RI on a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for arraignment on the original charge of Felony Assault and/or Battery originating out of West Warwick Police Department. Mackinnon was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Women’s Intake Center.

Rte. 6 arrest,  wanted in Providence On Monday, Feb. 3, at 12:50 a.m., troopers arrested Peter Wilson, 57, of 160 Andrews Ave., West Warwick, Rhode Island for an active Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Possession of a Schedule I to V, originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a disabled motor vehicle on Rte. 6 West in the Town of Johnston. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the ACI – Men’s Intake Facility.

Providence stop, crack possession At 11:28 p.m.,  Feb. 3, troopers arrested Martina Vidaurreta, 25, of 1 River Street, Apt. #3, West Warwick, RI, for 1.) Possession of a Schedule I – V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less (Crack Cocaine), 2.) Possession of a Schedule I – V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less (Fentanyl), 3.) Possession of a Schedule I – V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less (Crystal Meth). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Chalkstone Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and held overnight as a Probation Violator.

DUI charge,   Rte. 95 Exeter stop At 11:54 p.m. Feb. 5, troopers arrested Antonio Pacheco,  56, of 12 Gage St., West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – B.A.C Unknown – First Offense and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of Exeter. Pacheco was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult with a notice to appear in Fourth District Court.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI charge At 2:55 a.m. Feb. 8, Trooper Ellis, assisted by Lt. S. McGehearty and Sgt. O’Neil, arrested Amanda Hodde, 32, of 31 Lane C, Coventry, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/ or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to State Police Wickford Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult pending a future arraignment date at Third District Court.

EG stop, Johnston Driver, DUI charge At 9:54 p.m. Feb. 22, troopers arrested Victoria Fazio,  34, of 39 Nardolillo St., Johnston, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 North in the Town of East Greenwich. Ms. Fazio was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.

Newport stop, WW driver, DUI charge At 2:08 a.m. Feb. 23, troopers arrested Cheyenne Banks, 31, of 18 Summit Ave., Apartment 1, West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 East in the City of Newport. Ms. Banks was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult with a notice to appear in Second Division District Court.

EG stop, protection order violation At 12:08 a.m., troopers arrested Algot R. Abrahamson, 51, of 276 Danielson Pike, Scituate, Rhode Island, for Violation of a Protection Order. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 4 in the Town of East Greenwich. Abrahamson was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of Peace and released.

Coventry warrant, Exeter stop On Friday, February 28, 2025 at 1:42 PM, Troopers arrested Jessica A. Rogowski, 30, of 8B Shippee Avenue, Apartment #2, West Warwick, Rhode Island for

1) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Technical Violation on the original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V Controlled Substance out of the Coventry Police Department,

2) Providence County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Technical Violation on the original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V Controlled Substance out of the Providence Police Department,

3) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Technical Violation on the original charge of Larceny and Grand Theft Over $1,500.00 out of the West Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 2 in the Town of Exeter.

Following the arrest, the latest in RISP Coventry arrests, Rogowski was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Women’s Intake Center.
