COVENTRY, RI — Coventry arrests and other Kent County arrests in the RI Trooper Log July 20 – Aug. 2 involved charges for DUI, stolen goods, conspiracy, and forgery.

Coventry stop, no-contact violation On Friday, Aug. 2 at 9:05 a.m., troopers arrested Jonathan A. Desimone, 30, of 18, Hare Street, West Warwick, Rhode Island for Domestic Violence – Violation of No Contact Order – Third Offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on New London Turnpike in Coventry. Desimone was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and arraigned at Third Division District Court.
Coventry man arrested for obstruction, bail violator On Thursday, Aug. 1, at 5:15 p.m., troopers arrested Richard C. Antonio, Jr., 27, of 26 Helen Ave, Coventry, Rhode Island for 1) Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Nooseneck Hill Road in the Town of Richmond. Antonio, Jr. was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, specially arraigned, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution-Intake Service Center where he was held as a bail violator.
Coventry DUI stop At 1:03 a.m. Aug. 1, troopers arrested Lucas Berge, 23, of 165 Swansom Road, Swansea, Massachusetts, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – First Offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Boston Street, in the Town of Coventry. The subject was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
WW warrant: Stolen Goods, Conspiracy On July 30, at 10:07 p.m., troopers arrested Cristofer Brito, 18, of 134 Chester Ave., Providence, Rhode Island on an affidavit and arrest warrant for 1.) Receiving Stolen Goods Over $1,500, 2.) Conspiracy, originating out of the West Warwick Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Whitmarsh Street in the City of Providence. Brito was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the West Warwick Police Department.
WW stop, Providence warrant, disorderly conduct At 10:55 p.m. July 30, troopers arrested Kyle Lopes, 38, of 48 Sumner St., Pawtucket, Rhode Island for an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for 1.) Disorderly Conduct, originating out of the Providence Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on West Warwick Avenue in the Town of West Warwick. Lopes was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and subsequently transported to the Providence Police Department.
EG stop, Coventry man charged with DUI At 1:20 a.m. July 28, troopers arrested Anthony Amaral, 45, of 2 Douglas Fir Way, Coventry, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/ Drugs 1st Offense- B.A.C. Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in East Greenwich. Amaral was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult with a future Third Division District Court date.
At 2:31 p.m. July 27, troopers arrested Deaven Clinton, age 34, of 43 Anthony Street, Coventry, Rhode Island for Domestic-Violation of No Contact Order. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Providence Street in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court date.
WG stop, forgery charge At 5:44 p.m. July 20, troopers arrested Leah J. Bradley, 34, of 23 North Spring St., Ansonia, Connecticut for 1.) Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the Town of West Greenwich. Bradley was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.
EG stop, DUI charge At 2:12 a.m. July 23, troopers arrested Brandon White, 29, of 248 Holly Road, South Kingstown, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs – First Offense with a B.A.C. .15 or Greater – First Offense (Phase I B.A.C. = .194, Phase II B.A.C. = .206).
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 North in the Town of East Greenwich. Mr. White was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, and held pending morning arraignment as a bail violator at Third Division District Court.
