WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the Warwick RI Trooper Log  April 11 – involved charges including possessing an unlicensed pistol and high-capacity ammo feed, DUI, missed court and suspended licenses.

Missed court on property under false pretenses charge On Friday, April 11, 2025 at 10:30 a.m., troopers arrested Heidi Davis, 57, of 331 Main Avenue, Apt. 1, Warwick, Rhode Island, for an active Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the charge of Obtaining Property Under False Pretenses originating out of the State Police Wickford Barracks.

The arrest was the result of Davis being located at the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal. Davis was transported to State Police – Headquarters where she was processed and later transported to Kent County Superior Court.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI charge At 12:45 a.m. April 13, troopers arrested Alexander Merhi, 41, of 96 Scott Hollow Road, Coventry, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs- BAC Unknown- First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment by a Justice of the Peace where he will be presented as a Bail Violator.

Suspended license arrest At 10 a.m. April 15, troopers arrested Molong Vongkanya, 43, of 35 Byron Street, Cranston, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving After Denial/Revocation/Suspension of License Certain Violations – First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Ms. Vongkanya…

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Ms. Vongkanya was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where she was processed and then transported to Third Division District Court for her arraignment.
Unlicensed pistol, high-capacity feed devices On April 16 members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Tyler Defosse, 29, of 144 Stillwater Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) License or Permit Required to Carry a Pistol; 2) Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited; 3) Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited; and 4) Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited.
Defosse was transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending future Third District Court dates.
