WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the Warwick RI Trooper Log  May  19-23 involved DUI arrests on the highway and local roads, a man wanted for assault, and violating a no-contact order.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police RI Trooper Log Warwick arrests:

RI Trooper Log Warwick Arrests May 19- 23

DUI, Rte. 95 stop At 11:27 p.m. May 19, troopers arrested Jorge Morales, 39, of 38 Law St., Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – B.A.C Unknown – First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 4 North in East Greenwich. Morales was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a Notice to Appear in Third Division District Court.

Airport Connector Stop, DUI At 10:07 p.m., troopers arrested Christopher Goyer 37, of 17 Barden Lane, Warren, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C Unknown – First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Airport Connector Road in the City of Warwick. Goyer was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a Notice to Appear in Third Division District Court.

ACI Arrest: No contact order violation On May 22, members of the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Gerrod Crowell, 33, last known address of 55 Blackburn St., Warwick, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Violation of No Contact Order – 1st offense.

Crowell was arraigned in Third Division Court, where he was presented as a Superior Court violator and remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

Suspended License At 10:45 a.m. May 23, troopers arrested John Ferreira, 66, of 27 Plantation St., Warwick, Rhode Island for 1) Driving with a Suspended License – Certain Violations.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 4 in the town of East Greenwich. Mr. Ferreira was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

Wanted for assault At 7:34 p.m. May 23, troopers arrested Andy Ares, 27, of 139 Lancaster Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island, for an active Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of the State Police Scituate Barracks on the original charge of 1) Disorderly Conduct, 2) Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest, 3) Simple Assault and/or Battery.

The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation by Troopers and a subsequent motor vehicle stop on Greenwich Avenue in Warwick. Ares was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace as a probation and bail violator and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake.
