Showcase Cinemas, a long-running Warwick movie theater, invites moviegoers to visit their newly renovated Showcase Cinema de Lux Warwick on Quaker Lane.In addition to the XPlus Laser Premium Large Format Auditorium unveiled in February, the Warwick cinema now also offers a re-imagined lobby bar and concession area and a new state-of-the-art box office, plus all-reserved and fully powered recliners in all auditoriums.The re-imagined lobby offers a brand new concession and hot foods center featuring such brands as Nathan’s Famous, Uno Express Pizzas, Pretzel Depot Hand-Rolled Pretzels and an array of tempting offers including sweet and savory Gourmet Popcorn and over 40 candy varieties.  Showcase’s Xpress Pickup allows customers to order in advance via the web or the ShowcaseUS app and have their order ready when they arrive.  The new lobby bar concept will include hand-crafted cocktails on tap, premium spirits and craft beers as well as a Starbucks Coffee espresso bar with comfy lounge seating. The new lobby also offers a fleet of Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, ICEE Frozen Beverages and a new state-of-the-art box office. Showcase Cinemas, a long-time staple of Warwick’s and Rhode Island’s movie-going entertainment, is also a routine event venue for attractions such as the Coca-Cola Caravan and local cinematographers’ movie premiers, including the locally produced Mr. Birthday, directed by Dan Hunter, who played a broker in The Wolf of Wall Street, written by Matthew Luke Tucci, and starring Jason London,  Eric Roberts and Anna Marie Dobbins.The movie is produced by Tom DeNucci, of Cranston, RI, Chad E. Verdi of East Greenwich, RI, Chad A. Verdi Jr., Paul Luba, and Matthew Lake Tucci.The venue is often the site of spirited marquee title release events attracting cosplayers and other themed public participation, as during the 2015 premier of The Force Awakens at the Warwick movie theater.

Cork and Rye is a  Gastropub in Warwick within walking distance to the Warwick Mall and Showcase Cinemas. It presents a collaboration of food, beverage and ambiance, providing scratch pub food in a modern setting, with crafted cocktails and whiskey/wine program.
