PROVIDENCE, RI — The RI Attorney General’s office reports a 72-year-old Coventry man has been charged with second-degree child molestation following his arrest by Coventry Police in April 2023.

According to the RIAG’s office, Coventry Police arrested Paul Dadamo, 72, of Coventry, charging with two counts of second-degree child molestation stemming from his arrest on April 3, 2023. The arrest followed a Coventry Police Department investigation into Dadamo.

On July 14, 2023, the Office of the Attorney General charged Dadamo by way of criminal information on the two counts.

As alleged in the criminal information used to bring the charges, Dadamo sexually assaulted a victim, under the age of 14, multiple times on a day and date between the November 2016 and November 2018.

Dadamo is scheduled for arraignment on July 28, 2023, in Kent County Superior Court.
