COVENTRY, RI — Enjoy the holidays in the local community with Coventry weekend events, including an artisan Christmas party, pictures with Santa, a honey tasting holiday party, and live music at Lake Taco.

The Coventry community weather forecast promises sunny with a high near 34 Friday, partly sunny with a chance of snow, with a high near 40 Saturday, and mostly cloudy with likely snow, with a high near 35 Sunday, the National Weather Service reports.

Here are some Coventry community events and happenings to help you decide where you’re spending this weekend:

Coventry Weekend Events Friday:

Endeavors and More Christmas Party Come out to Endeavors and More on Friday, December 12 for the Endeavors and More Christmas Party. We will have refreshments, but you are more than welcome to bring your favorite dish. This will be a festive time for customers to meet our local artisans, as well as the crafters to get to know each other. Pop in and out anytime from 4:00-8:30 p.m.

Acoustic Brew at Lake Taco Come down to Lake Taco on Friday, December 12 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. for a live performance by Acoustic Brew. Acoustic Brew is a trio band that plays 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s hits. Enjoy great food, great staff, great drinks, and a great atmosphere.

Coventry Weekend Events Saturday:

Pictures with Santa Come on down to Sweatshop Fitness RI on Saturday, December 13 between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. to take pictures with Santa. This event is to benefit Child and Family Services. A suggested $10 gift card to Stop and Shop or Walmart will help provide during the holiday season for these families. Feel free to take a picture with Santa alone or with the family. We will also have raffle baskets with the proceeds also going to Child and Family. Come and join in the fun.
Coventry Weekend Events Sunday:

RIBA Holiday Party Join us at RIBA’s Holiday Party to close out the 2025 bee season at the VFW Hall in Coventry. There will be a black jar honey tasting contest. To participate, bring a container of honey that is covered (most people put a jar in a bag or cover with duct tape). RIBA will be providing sandwiches, drinks, and dessert. Attendees may bring appetizers and desserts if you wish. RIBA will also be collecting unwrapped, new toys for Toys for Tots. We hope to see you there!
