COVENTRY, RI —  Coventry RI Trooper Log arrests and other Kent County arrests in the RI Trooper Log  Oct. 9 – 19 involved charges for meth possession,  forged plates, assaulting officers, and B&E.

Coventry RI Trooper Log: Arrests Oct. 9 – 19

Missed court, domestic disorderly conduct On Sunday, Oct. 13, at 4:16 p.m., troopers arrested Frank W. Kosiba III, 57, of 163 Widow Sweet Road, Exeter, Rhode Island for an active Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre- Trial Conference on the original charge of Domestic Disorderly originating out of the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a warrant check at Kosiba III’s home. Kosiba III was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men’s Intake Center.

Forged plates, WW stop On Monday, Oct. 14, 2024 at 9:34 a.m., troopers arrested Randall L. Medeiros, 32, of 325 West Avenue, Apt. 2, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1) Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates 2) Driving with Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License 4th and Subsequent Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Tanglewood Drive in the Town of West Warwick. Medeiros was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released pending a future third division district court date.

No contact violation At 12:20 a.m. Oct. 15, troopers arrested Angela Wilkinson, 48, of 91 West Warwick Ave., West Warwick, Rhode Island for Violation of No Contact Order – Third Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on James P Murphy Highway in the City of West Warwick.

Wilkinson was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where she was processed and later transported to the State Police Scituate Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third District Court.

No contact violation At 12:20 a.m. Oct. 15, troopers arrested Brendon Laflamme, 30, of 62 Brandy Brook Road, North Scituate, Rhode Island for 1.) Violation of No Contact Order – First Offense; and 2.) Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on James P Murphy Highway in the City of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third District Court.

Meth possession At 2:45 a.m., troopers arrested John K. O’Grady, 44, of 98 Burnt Hill Road, Hope, Rhode Island, for Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance less than 10 Grams (Methamphetamines).

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on New London Turnpike in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held pending morning arraignment and presentment as a probation violator.

Obstruction, assaulting officers On Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024 at 10:05 p.m., troopers arrested Christian M. Hunt,  26, of 1342 Main Street, West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Obstruction; 2.) Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest; 3.) Assault of Police Officers; 4.) Disorderly Conduct; 5.) Driving with Expired/Without License – Fourth and Subsequent Offense; and 6.) Fugitive from Justice originating out of Swansea Police Department, Massachusetts, on the original charge of Receiving Stolen Property.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in West Warwick. Hunt was transported to Kent County Hospital, where he was evaluated and later transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks. The subject was processed and held overnight pending arraignment/presentment as a bail violator at Third Division District Court.

WG Rte. 95 stop, DUI On Friday, Oct. 18, at 10:56 p.m., troopers arrested Jonathan Alexander Morocho-Morocho, 20, of 365 Bradford Street, Apt. #1, Orange, New Jersey, for 1.) Driving While Impaired (Phase I .064 BAC / Phase II BAC .067).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in West Greenwich. The subject was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Wanted for Coventry B&E On Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024 at 9 a.m., troopers arrested Jason M. Peckham Snow, 27, of 10 Harry Andrews Road, West Greenwich, Rhode Island for a Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on a Technical Violation on the original charge of Breaking and Entering at Night with Felonious Intent, originating out of the Coventry Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a warrant check at Peckham’s home. Peckham was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center.
