COVENTRY, RI — There’s a wide range of Coventry community events this weekend, including a fun night for moms, breast cancer fundraiser, pumpkin painting, goat snuggles and other goat-related activities.

The Coventry Community events weather forecast promises partly cloudy with a chance of showers, and a high near 79 Friday, partly sunny with a chance of showers, and a high near 75 Saturday, and mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, and a high near 73 Sunday, the National Weather Service reports.

Here are some Coventry community events and happenings to help you decide where you’re spending this weekend:

Coventry Community Events Friday:

Pumpkin Painting at Fairview Gardens Let us handle the mess with Pumpkin Painting out on the back patio of our adorable local nursery from 10:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. This craft is fun for all ages and we offer plenty of room for our groups. This craft is free with the sale of your preferred pumpkin. We hope to see you there!

Goat Snuggles Come join us for an early start to Coventry Community events at Amazing Grace Farm and enjoy time with our goats. Brush them, snuggle them, give them snacks, and watch them play. We guarantee you will leave with a smile on your face. Each snuggle session is about 40 minutes long.

  • Fridays at 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays and Sundays at 11:30 a.m.

Coventry Community Events Saturday:

Breast Cancer Fitness Day Fundraiser Join us on Saturday, September 27 from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. for a morning of fitness and fundraising. We’re coming together to sweat for a cause. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer 5K on behalf of the Work It Out team participating in the run/walk. We will have a morning full of 20 minute sample fitness classes. Entry fee covers your whole day of classes to try as little or as many as you would like— try something new, have fun, and help us raise money for a great cause.

Entry fee is $10 (all proceeds to be donated). Wear your pink to the event! Let’s fill the room with pink, energy, and love as we move for those impacted by breast cancer.

Sassy Mom’s Night Out at Little Lattes Play Cafe Join us on Saturday, September 27 at 6:00 p.m. for a laid-back evening of laughs, drinks, and planting at this exclusive after-hours event with Sassy Succulents RI and Little Lattes Play Cafe. Your ticket to this event includes one custom succulent planter from our Make-Your-Own Succulent Bar, one individual charcuterie cup, and a night of fun, connection, and chill mom vibes. Craft cocktails available for purchase from Sippin’ Pretty, plus coffee and non-alcoholic drinks if you’re skipping the booze. No kids, no chaos. Just plants, snacks, and sips. Smokin’ Mirrors at Olde Theater Restaurant and Lounge We are excited to be back at Olde Theater this Saturday, Sept. 27 at 8:00 p.m. Come by and enjoy a night full of great music, good food and drinks, and hang out with a crowd that loves to listen to great classc rock n roll. Community Roots Market We’re delighted to announce that Community Roots Market is coming to Coventry, RI, and we’re eager for you all to join us. We’ll be featuring locally grown and crafted goods. Located at 2501 Nooseneck Hill Rd, Coventry, RI. Open every Saturday from 4-6 p.m.

Goat Hike and Snuggle Come take a walk in the woods with us and our little herd of goats. The goats are off-leash and forage their way through the trails with us. We stop in several spots for you to interact with them and give them snacks. Easy terrain with a few small hills. The hike is about 40 minutes long. Each hike ends with a snuggle session!

  • Saturdays at 2 p.m.
  • Sundays at 10 a.m.

Baby Goat Yoga Join us on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. for a unique experience of yoga class plus baby goats! Our instructor will lead you through the class while the babies run, play, and most likely climb on you. All levels welcome. You will most likely get dirty, so don’t wear anything that can’t be washed. Bring a yoga mat (we have loaners) and an open mind. You will definitely enjoy this class.

Cost is $30 per person.
