Community Coventry Events Nov. 21: Live Music, Books

COVENTRY, RI — There are live music events among community Coventry events this weekend, as well as an Autumn Festival and a book bedazzling brunch.

The Coventry community weather forecast promises partly sunny with a chance of rain, with a high near 52 Friday, mostly clear with a chance of rain, with a high near 50 Saturday, and mostly sunny, with a high near 47 Sunday, the National Weather Service reports.

Here are some Coventry community events and happenings to help you decide where you’re spending this weekend:

Community Coventry Events Friday:

Home Grown at Coventry Men’s Club Get ready, Coventry— Home Grown is taking over the Coventry Men’s Club on Friday, November 21 at 8:00 p.m. for a night of pure rock ‘n’ roll energy. It’s gonna be wall-to-wall music, ice-cold drinks, and that hometown party feel you know and love. Grab your crew, grab a drink, and let’s make the dance floor move. Good times grow right here— with Home Grown.

The JRay Dynamic at Flat River Tavern The JRay Dynamic is set to return to Flat River Tavern on Friday, November 21 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. Together they bring a playful dynamic to classic duets and a bluesy twist to other modern favorites. Free entry and always a fun time. See you there!

Hopkins and The Buzz at Lake Taco Come on down to Lake Taco on Friday, November 21 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. and enjoy music from The Buzz Band. The Buzz are local professional musicians who came together to form a premier classic rock and R&B jam band. Come out and hear all those songs you love in the key of life jamified!

Community Coventry Events Saturday:

Autumn Festival Come on out to Knotty Oak Baptist Church on Saturday, November 22 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. for their Autumn Festival. This event is geared towards children grades K-6th, and there will be games, food, prizes, crafts, and fun. This event is free and open to all. We hope to see you there!

The Steve Pati Band at OTD Come on out to Olde Theater Restaurant and Lounge on Saturday, November 22 at 8:30 p.m. and enjoy music from The Steve Pati Band. The Steve Pati Band is a Rhode Island based rock and roll band. Performing original compositions that Harkin back, to guitar driven sounds of classic rock as well as era appropriate covers. Come on down; its always a great time!

Community Coventry Events Sunday:

Book Bedazzle Brunch Join us at Binds & Blooms on Sunday, November 23 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. for a morning full of book talk, bedazzling, and brunch. Tickets are $35 each. All supplies is included, and there will be light refreshments provided. BYOB welcome. See you there!
