Colleen Haxton Liquors Lottery Winner Scores $150K

WARWICK, RI —  The week has shaped up fortuitously for one lucky Colleen Haxton Liquors lottery winner who bought a $150,000 Powerball® Power Play® ticket at the 1325 Post Rd. store in last night’s drawing.

The ticket has yet to be claimed, according to the RI Lottery.

Elsewhere across the Ocean State, a North Attleboro man won $30,000 playing Keno Plus at Ciro’s Tavern, 42 Cherry St., Woonsocket.

The man wagered $5 on a 6-spot game and opted to play the Keno Plus feature by doubling his base wager.  He matched all 6 of his numbers to win $6,000.  However, his prize was multiplied by 5, the Keno Plus number for that draw, to win $30,000.

He said he might use some of the money towards his first house or business he started and will save the rest.

Additionally, a woman from New York claimed a $10,000prize from the “$2 Million Royale” Instant Ticket she purchased at 7-Eleven, 726 Aquidneck Ave., Middletown.

She also plans to save her winnings.
