August CPD Arrests: Animal Cruelty, Cyberstalking

COVENTRY, RI — August 2024 CPD arrests included charges for DUI, animal cruelty, cyberstalking, sexual assault and illegal weapons.

Coventry Police made 31 arrests during this period. Below are the  basic details of specific CPD arrests, followed by the numbers of arrests for each charge.

CPD Arrests Aug. 25 – 31

• On Aug. 29 at 1:50 a.m., officers arrested Chasity Davis, 31, of 6 Remington St., West Warwick, for Vandalism.
• On Aug. 28 at 6:50 a.m. officers arrested Peter Donato, 48, of 9 Eisenhower St. Apt # 6 Coventry for an active arrest warrant.
• On Aug. 27 at 7 p.m., officers arrested Danny Alvarez Reyes, 34, of 100 Broad St. Apt # 432 Providence for Shoplifting and an active arrest warrant.
• On Aug. 27 at 3:19 p.m., officers arrested Rufus Brothers, 40, of 493 Camp Westwood Rd., Coventry for Domestic Vandalism and Disorderly Conduct.
• On Aug. 25 at 10:30 a.m., officers arrested Joseph Heeks, 52, of 143 Evergreen St. Pawtucket, RI for Domestic Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct.
• On Aug. 25 at at 1:44 a.m., officers arrested Rebecca Roberts, 46, of 37 Capwell Ave Coventry for DUI/1st Offense/BAC Unknown and Possession of a Scheduled Narcotics.
• On On Aug. 25 at at 1:39 a.m. officers arrested James Amaral, 51, of 82 Providence St., West Warwick, for Shoplifting.

• On Aug. 23 at 10:40 p.m., officers arrested Rachel Howlett, 27, of 618 Main St. #1-403 Coventry for Threats to Public Officials, Domestic Disorderly Conduct/Vandalism and Simple Assault.

• On Aug. 23 at 3:25 p.m., officers arrested Tristin O’Connor, 23, of 65 Clark Mill St. Coventry for Willful Trespass and Possession of Scheduled Narcotics.
• On Aug. 23 at 11:45 p.m., officers arrested Lauren Duarte, 32, of 339 Evergreen St., Pawtucket, for Shoplifting and Possession of Scheduled Narcotics.
• On Aug. 23 at 3:14 a.m., officers arrested Kaitlin Studley, 20, of 47 Indian Trail Coventry for DUI/1st Offense/BAC Unknown.
