Missed Court, reckless driving At 5 p.m. June 18, troopers arrested Tyler Johnston, 25, of 7 Newfield Ave., Warwick, RI for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Reckless Driving and Other Offences originating out of the Coventry Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 37 in the City of Warwick. Johnston was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and issued a Third District Court date.
Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest At 11:15 p.m. June 18 troopers arrested Paul Voigt, 48, of 40 Westmoreland Lane, Saunderstown, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in the City of Warwick. Voigt was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest At 2 a.m., troopers arrested Ricardo Pierre, 45, of 17 Jodin St., West Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in the City of Warwick. Pierre was transported to State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, and held overnight as a federal probation violator.
Providence stop, suspended license On Thursday June 19, at 2 p.m., troopers arrested Johnny Rivera, 44, of 402 Elm St., Warwick, Rhode Island for 1) Driving with A Suspended License – Special Circumstances. This arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Florence Street in the City of Providence. Rivera was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and transported to Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.
Rte. 95 stop, shoplifting warrant At 9:59 a.m. June 21, troopers arrested Steven Smith, 64, of 4 River Street, Wood River Junction, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Shoplifting and Conspiracy originating out of the Smithfield Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Smith was transported to the Rhode Island State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed and turned over to the Smithfield Police Department.
East Avenue stop, DUI arrest DUI At 12:17 a.m., troopers arrested Elizabeth Camara, 49, of 152 Bell Ave., Riverside, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of an Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in the City of Warwick. Camara was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
