COVENTRY, RI — Coventry arrests and other Kent County arrests in the RI Trooper Log  Feb. 3 -15 involved charges for DUI, cocaine & fentanyl possession, and a protection order violation.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police Coventry RI Trooper Log arrests and other Kent County arrests:

Kent County & Coventry arrests:

Forgery, fake plates On Monday, Feb. 11, 2025 at 11:30 a.m., troopers arrested Siano Vargas Gomez, 55, of 57 Cliff St., Norwich, Connecticut for Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in West Greenwich. Mr. Gomez was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, and transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.

Missed court, conspiracy, felony larceny, On Feb. 10, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, the ACI Special Investigations Unit and the Rhode Island State Police Lincoln Barracks arrested Mark Pine, age 55, of 54 Slade St., Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on the following:

1) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Status Conference on an original charge of Felony Larceny originating from the Smithfield Police Department;

2) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Status Conference on an original Conspiracy charge originating from the Johnston Police Department;

3) Kent County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Status Conference on an original charge of Felony Larceny originating from the West Warwick Police Department;

4) Kent County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Status Conference on an original charge of Felony Larceny originating from the West Warwick Police Department; and

5) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on an original charge of Domestic Violence originating from the Cranston Police Department. Mr. Pine turned himself in at the Lincoln Barracks, where he was processed. He was later transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.

Protection order violation At 11:40 p.m. Feb. 13, Troopers arrested Jamie Chace, 34, of 82 East Street, West Warwick, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the original charge of Violation of Protection Order originating out of the West Warwick Police Department. The Arrest was a result of a Motor Vehicle Stop conducted on Post Road in the Town of North Kingstown. The subject was transported to State Police Wickford Barracks, where she was processed, transported, and turned over to the West Warwick Police Department.

DUI, Rte. 95 stop At 1:05 a.m. Feb. 14, Troopers arrested Mark Joseph, 50, of 11 Washington Road, Barrington, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – B.A.C Unknown – First Offense and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. This arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the Town of West Greenwich. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult with a future Third Division District Court date.

Cocaine, Fentanyl On Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025 at 1:31 a.m., troopers arrested Elainie I. Stone,  33, of 215 W Nash St., Southport, North Carolina, for 1.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance less than 10 Grams (Cocaine), 2.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance less than 10 Grams (Crack Cocaine), and 3.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance less than 10 Grams (Fentanyl). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hopkins Hill Road in the Town of West Greenwich. Ms. Stone was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released pending a future Third Division District Court date.
