

COVENTRY, RI — RI Trooper Log Coventry arrests and other Kent County arrests in the RI Trooper Log Jan. 14 – 24 involved charges for DUI, fraud, larceny and possession of crack and fentanyl.

Kent County & Coventry arrests:
Conspiracy to distribute Fentanyl, Adderal, Suboxone On Jan. 14, members of the HIDTA Task Force, assisted by members of the United States Postal Inspection Service, arrested Abraham Rahed, 47, of 331 Harkney Hill Road, Coventry, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession With the Intent to Deliver 1 oz – 1 kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl; 2) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl; 3) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Adderall; 4) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule III Controlled Substance – Suboxone; and 5) Controlled Substance Conspiracy.
Rahed was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was ordered held without bail.
WG Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest On Thursday, Jan. 16 at 1:50 a.m., troopers arrested Roy T. Dinola, age 43, of 98 Buttonwoods Road, Wyoming, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of West Greenwich. Mr. Dinola was transported to State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released pending a future arraignment date at Third Division District Court.
EG man wanted in MA On Jan. 16, members of the Major Crimes Unit arrested Lavell Poston, 30, of 320 South Road Apt B, East Greenwich, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for Robbery, Armed & Masked, originating out of the Attleboro Massachusetts Police Department.
Poston was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.
Domestic disorderly conduct At 12:24 p.m. Jan. 16, troopers arrested Benjamin Couto, 39, of 42B Epworth Ave., West Warwick, Rhode Island for an active Affidavit and Arrest warrant for Domestic Disorderly Conduct originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department.
The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal where the Capitol Police had they party in custody. The subject was transported to the State Police- Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and turned over to the Woonsocket Police Department.
Larceny, disorderly conduct At 5 p.m. Jan. 17, troopers arrested Joshua Jordan, 28, of 41 Pulaski St, West Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Larceny under $1,500 2.) Obstruction of Officer in Execution of Duty and 3.) Disorderly Conduct.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and Jordan turning himself in at the Lincoln Woods Barracks. Jordan was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
Forgery, fake plates At 9:47 a.m. Jan. 17, troopers arrested Jose Cruz Hernandez, 21, of 66 Bowden St., Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates, and 2.) Giving False Document to Public Official. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centre of New England Boulevard in the Town of Coventry. Cruz Hernandez was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed and transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.
Conspiracy, money under false pretenses On Sunday Jan. 19 at 2:35 a.m., troopers arrested Zackary Karnley, 18, of 12 Steere Ave., Providence, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for 1.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses – Over $1,500, Under $5,000 and 2.) Conspiracy originating out of the West Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on North Main in the City of Providence.
Karnely was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the West Warwick Police Department.
Bank fraud On Jan. 23, members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested George Schuellein, 64, of 11A Torch Lane, Coventry, Rhode Island, for two counts of the following: 1) Bank Fraud; and 2.) Obtaining Money by False Pretenses. Mr. Schuellein was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Crawford and released on $20,000 personal recognizance.
WW stop, missed court At 12:25 a.m. Jan. 25, troopers arrested Ronald Paul, 46, of 53 Niblick Circle, Coventry, Rhode Island for 1.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with Suspended/Revoked License originating out of the Coventry Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on River Street in the Town of West Warwick. Paul was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute.
Rte. 4 stop, DUI charge At 3:05 a.m. Jan. 25, troopers arrested Gustavo Bonilla, 35, of 47 Naples Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) DUI – BAC Unknown – 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – 1st Offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 North in the Town of East Greenwich. Bonilla was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Third Division District Court Date.
Xanax, Crack Cocaine possession On Friday Jan 24 at 10:32 p.m., troopers arrested, Necole Nardolillo, 31, of 35 Pennsylvania Ave., West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance – Less than 10 grams (Xanax) 2.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance – Less than 10 grams (Crack Cocaine). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hayward Street in the City of Providence.
Nardolillo was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
