Here are the basics on those arrests:
Airport Connector stop, DUI At 8:20 p.m. Oct. 3, troopers arrested Scott Sherman, 50, of 39B Richmond St., Bristol, RI for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs, BAC Unknown (First Offense) and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on the Airport Connector in the City of Warwick.
The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was held overnight pending a morning arraignment where he will be presented as a Bail Violator.
Wanted on multiple warrants, bail violation On Oct. 3, members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Rodrick S. Keith, 22, of 21 Bernon Street, Floor 2, Providence , Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Breaking & Entering of Dwelling when Resident on Premises; 2) Larceny Under $1,500; 3) Affidavit/Arrest Warrant by Providence Police Department for Domestic Larceny; 4) Affidavit/Arrest Warrant by Providence Police Department for Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Violation of No-contact Order; 5) Affidavit/Arrest Warrant by Pawtucket Police Department for Domestic Assault, Domestic Disorderly Conduct and Domestic Violation of No-contact Order; and 6) Third District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for technical violation on an original charge of Domestic Violence by the Warwick Police Department.
Keith was taken into custody and transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing. He was presented as a Superior Court bail violator, then transported and held overnight at the Adult Correctional Institutions pending a morning arraignment in Third District Court.
Disorderly at DMV At 2 :49 p.m., troopers arrested Matthew Penardo, 27, of 18 Sheldon St., West Warwick, Rhode Island for: 1) Disorderly Conduct and 2) Resisting Arrest.
The arrest was the result of troopers responding to the Rhode Island Department of Motor Vehicles for the report of a subject being detained by Capitol Police. Penardo was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with future court dates.
Traffic stop, missed court arrest On Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, at 1:34 p.m., troopers arrested Michael Dwyer, 36, of 122 Dryden Boulevard, Warwick, Rhode Island, on a Third Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on the charge of Driving with Suspended License originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Wickford Barracks.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Huntington Avenue, in the City of Providence. Dwyer was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
