
WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police say two drivers face racing charges after a Bald Hill Road crash trapped four people in one vehicle Saturday night.
Warwick Police and Warwick Firefighters were called to the Bald Hill Road crash near West Natick Road with the occupants of the vehicle trapped in the wreck, at about 6:03 p.m., Warwick Police report.
Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle that had sustained significant damage after leaving the roadway on West Natick Road and striking a barrier, according to police.
Warwick Firefighters freed four people from the wreck, all of whom were transported to either Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Bald Hill Road Crash Investigation IDs Second Driver
Crash investigators determined speed was a factor and that a second vehicle was likely involved. Following further investigation and review of evidence, officers identified and stopped the second vehicle determined to have been involved in the crash.
The operator of the crashed vehicle, Ashley Pare, 34, was charged with Driving to Endanger Resulting in Physical Injury, Street Racing, and Reckless Driving.
The operator of the second vehicle, Cody Cullen, 21, has been charged with Driving to Endanger Resulting in Physical Injury, Street Racing, Reckless Driving, and failing in their Duty to Render Aid.
Warwick Police are still investigating the crash.
