Kent County Arrests Dec. 20 – 26:
WW domestic assault warrant On Monday Dec. 22, at 10 p.m., troopers arrested Oscar Concepcion, 27, of 1403 Mendon Road, Apt. A, Cumberland, Rhode Island for an Affidavit Arrest Warrant originating out of the West Warwick Police Department for 1.) Domestic Assault by Strangulation and 2.) Domestic Simple Assault.
This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Rte. 95 North in Pawtucket. Concepcion was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the West Warwick Police Department.
Unregistered sex offender, obtaining money under false pretenses On Monday, Dec. 22, at 9:12 p.m., troopers arrested Andrew George, 40, of 137 Main St., Upton, Massachusetts for:
1.) a Providence Superior Court Full Bench Warrants for 32 (f) Filed/ Technical Violation on the original charge of Sexual Offender- Failure to Notify Law Enforcement originating out of the Central Falls Police Department
2.) a Washington Superior Court Bench Warrant for AG Request Rule-9 on the original charge of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses originating out of the Central Falls Police Department
3.) a Providence Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for AG Request Rule-9 on the original charge of Sexual Offender Registration Required originating out of Rhode Island State Police Headquarters
4.) a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving without Consent of Owner originating out of the Central Falls Police Department and
5.) an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Sexual Offender- Failure to Notify Change in Address originating out of the Rhode Island Attorneys General Office.
The arrest took place as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in West Warwick. George was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men’s Intake Center pending future arraignment.
