The following Warwick arrests were recorded by RI State Police between Dec. 13-20:
Missed court, suspended license charge On Tuesday Dec. 16, at 2:42 a.m., troopers arrested Shamel Bullock, 46, of 240 Welfare Ave., Warwick, on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with Suspended/Revoked License, originating out of the North Providence Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Charles Street, in the City of Providence. Bullock was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.
Food Stamp Fraud charge On Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 2:25 p.m., troopers arrested Alicia A. Moreau, 31, of 547 Post Road, Warwick, on an Affidavit and Arrest warrant for 1) Obtaining Property by False Pretense 2) Fraudulent use of Food Stamps 3) Fraudulently Obtain Public Assistance 4) Forgery and Counterfeiting 5) Giving False Document to Agent Employee of Public Official originating out of the Hope Valley Barracks.
The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and the Cranston Police Department taking custody of the subject. Ms. Moreau was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and later released with a future Third District Court date.
DUI, Airport Connector Stop At 12:56 a.m. Dec. 19, troopers arrested Katherine Muir, 38, of 158 Tidewater Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Airport Connector Road in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
Illegal drug possession On Dec. 17, the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Carlos Mota, 48, with last known address of 2030 Elmwood Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island, for: 1) Possession of Controlled Substance Less than 10 Grams. Mota was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was presented as a Superior Court violator, granted $1,000 surety bail, and remanded to the ACI.
