The following Warwick arrests were recorded by RI State Police between Nov. 11 and 14:
Disorderly charge at Kent County Courthouse At 11:30 a.m. Nov. 14, troopers arrested Kurt Cesar, 23, of 11 Morning Star Row, Providence, Rhode Island, for Disorderly Conduct. This arrest was the result of Troopers assisting the Capitol Police with a disturbance at the Kent County Courthouse in the City of Warwick. The subject was held at Third District Court pending afternoon arraignment.
Assault charge at Kent County Courthouse At 11:30 a.m., troopers arrested Elias Espinosa, 22, of 90 Armington St., Cranston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Assault on a Police Officer and Other Officials, 2.) Simple Assault and/or Battery, and 3) Disorderly Conduct.
The arrest was the result of Troopers assisting the Capitol Police with a disturbance at the Kent County Courthouse in the City of Warwick. The subject was held at Third District Court pending afternoon arraignment.
DUI charge, Rte. 95 crash On Monday, Nov. 24, 2025 at 12:25 a.m., troopers arrested James Garcia, 48, of 208 Narragansett Ave., Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.
The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Rte. 95 North in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
Rte. 95 stop, DUI On Monday, Nov. 24, 2025 at 3:16 a.m., troopers arrested Madison Nunes, 23, of 16 Chapel Ter, Apt 16, Newport, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .10 – .15 – First Offense (Phase I: .137%, Phase II: .118%) the arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in the City of Warwick.
Nunes was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
Rte. 95 stop, DUI charge On Monday, Nov. 24, 2025 at 9:56 p.m., troopers arrested Fernando Taveras, 37, of 3595 Post Road, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor BAC – .15 or Greater – First Offense (Phase I .167%, Phase II .169%).
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95, in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
WW stop, DUI charge On Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 1:35 a.m., troopers arrested Marcos A. Rivera, 24, of 10 Preston Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of West Warwick.
Rivera was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult with a future Third Division District Court date.
Rte. 95 crash, DUI charge At 10:46 p.m. Nov. 25, troopers arrested Jonathan Moore, 50, of 249 Quaker Lane, West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drug – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle crash investigation on Route 95, in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
