WARWICK, RI — People’s Liquor Warehouse in Apponaug sold a $34,000 winning Wild Money® scratch ticket from the RI Lottery Friday, Nov. 14, the same night a $989 million Mega Millions ticket was sold in Georgia and a $13,000 “Money Strike Jackpot” eInstant ticket sold in Wakefield.
The Warwick and Georgia winners have yet to be named, according to anott announcement by the RI Lottery. In Warwick, the $34,000 claim was the third win on that game in the state this month.
In Rhode Island in general, the Friday Mega Millions drawing produced 4,100 winning tickets and over $90,000 in prizes including multiple $1,000, $2,000 and $5,000 prizes.
Also Friday, Jacob Brown of Wakefield celebrated his $13,393 “Money Strike Jackpot” eInstant win Friday with a brief photo op. He said he plans to save for college and treat family and friends.
