Trooper Coventry Arrests Nov. 10: Forgery, No Contact

COVENTRY, RI — Coventry arrests and other Kent County arrests in the RI Trooper Log  Nov. 2 – 14 involved charges for DUI, a suspended license and cocaine possession with intent to deliver.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police Kent County and Coventry arrests in the Coventry area:

Kent County, Coventry Arrests Nov. 2 – 15

Forgery/Counterfeit Plates On Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1:27 a.m., troopers arrested Jose G. Lopez Chevez, 41, of 2554 Kern St., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for Forgery/Counterfeiting of Registration Plates. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of West Greenwich. Mr. Lopez Chevez was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a 3rd Division District Court Date.

No Contact Order Violation On Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 1:28 a.m., troopers arrested Andrew Dutton, 35, of 1571 Main St., Apartment 21C, West Warwick, Rhode Island, for Domestic – Violation of a No Contact Order – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Nestor Street, in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.

Possession of Illegal Drugs On Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025 at 7:31 p.m., troopers arrested Antione S. Jones, 45, of 69 West St., Apt 2, New London, Connecticut for a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for a Technical Violation on the original charge of 1.) Possession of Schedule I to V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less originating from the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in the Town of West Greenwich. Jones was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men’s Intake.
