COVENTRY, RI — The seasonal festivities continue in the Coventry weekend roundup with a Trunk or Treat, a cemetery tour at Paine House Museum, and the RI Historic Marketplace.
The Coventry community weather forecast promises mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers, with a high near 59 Friday, mostly sunny, with a high near 57 Saturday, and mostly sunny, with a nigh near 54 Sunday, the National Weather Service reports.

Coventry Weekend Events Friday:
Trunk or Treat Come on out to Hopkins Hill Elementary School on Friday, October 24 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for our annual Trunk or Treat. Join us at this free event for candy, music, and lots of family fun. 6:00-6:30 p.m. will be sensory friendly only for our friends who prefer a calmer experience, and 6:30-8:00 p.m. is open to everyone. Plus, don’t miss out on our best trunk contest! Vote for the best trunk and help crown the winner of a $25 Amazon gift card. See you there!
Pumpkin Painting at Fairview Gardens Let us handle the mess with Pumpkin Painting out on the back patio of our adorable local nursery from 10:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. This craft is fun for all ages and we offer plenty of room for our groups. This craft is free with the sale of your preferred pumpkin. We hope to see you there!
Cemetarium and Terrarium Making Come on out to Fairview Gardens from 10:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. for Cemetarium and Terrarium Making. This is a fun crafting opportunity for kids, teens, and adults. Whether you want to get spooky with a Halloween inspired theme, fall scene, fairy/gnome scene, or go natural with our selection of air plants and succulents. See you there!
Goat Snuggles Come join us for an early start to Coventry Community events at Amazing Grace Farm and enjoy time with our goats. Brush them, snuggle them, give them snacks, and watch them play. We guarantee you will leave with a smile on your face. Each snuggle session is about 40 minutes long.

Paine House Museum Ghost Tour Cemetery Walk Join us at The Paine House Museum on Saturday, October 25 for an evening stroll of Pine Grove Cemetery. Hear stories told of those from our past. Meet up at The Paine House Museum and follow your guide dow the path and through Pine Grove Cemetery to learn the history and see the beautiful carvings of the cemetery. Afterwards, return to Paine House and tour the Victorian Funeral display. Tours leave at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Enter at your own risk!
Rhody Collectors Show Come out to the Coventry VFW on Saturday, October 25 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. for the Rhody Collectors Show. Come get your favorite vintage and modern collectibles including sports and non-sports/Pokemon cards, action figures, comics, video games, and more. We hope to see you there!

Community Roots Market We’re delighted to announce that Community Roots Market is coming to Coventry, RI, and we’re eager for you all to join us. We’ll be featuring locally grown and crafted goods. Located at 2501 Nooseneck Hill Rd, Coventry, RI. Open every Saturday from 4-6 p.m.

Goat Hike and Snuggle Come take a walk in the woods with us and our little herd of goats. The goats are off-leash and forage their way through the trails with us. We stop in several spots for you to interact with them and give them snacks. Easy terrain with a few small hills. The hike is about 40 minutes long. Each hike ends with a snuggle session!
- Saturdays at 2 p.m.
- Sundays at 10 a.m.
Baby Goat Yoga Join us on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. for a unique experience of yoga class plus baby goats! Our instructor will lead you through the class while the babies run, play, and most likely climb on you. All levels welcome. You will most likely get dirty, so don’t wear anything that can’t be washed. Bring a yoga mat (we have loaners) and an open mind. You will definitely enjoy this class.
Cost is $30 per person.

RI Historic Marketplace Come out to the RI Historic Marketplace on Sunday, October 26 between 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. for the opportunity to browse vendors from various areas. This unique family-friendly event offers something for everyone, including reenactors and the general public. This event is being held in conjunction with the General Nathanael Greene Homestead annual Trick or Treat Timeline. We hope to see you there!
