WARWICK, RI — This Warwick weekend offers fabulous fall events for the whole family, including a family fun fest, a family movie night, the Conimicut Village Art Festival, and the return of the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular.

Here are some events and happenings to help you decide where you’re spending this Warwick weekend:
Warwick Weekend Events Friday:
Family Movie Night Please join us at Lippitt Elementary on Friday, October 3 for a free Family Movie Night in our school backyard, featuring the movie Shrek. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and the movie begins at 7:00 p.m. Come early, set up your chairs, grab dinner from Texas Roadhouse, and play on the playground before the dragons take over after sunset. Texas Roadhouse will be serving a $6 Orge Bundle: hamburger or hotdog with chips and a mug of Swamp Juice. Gather your friends, bring your blankets, and get ready for a night of food, fun, and movie magic under the stars.
Farmers Market at Goddard Memorial State Park Support and enjoy local food and farmers! Join our weekly farmers market from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and get to know the hardworking people who grow your veggies, fruit, flowers, and favorite foods! For the first few weeks, the market mostly offers bedding plants, hanging plants, cut flowers, meat, early vegetable crops, honey, and maple syrup. As traditional local summer crops become available, additional vendors will participate.
Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular This fall, jack-O-Lantern Spectacular: Trivia-2nd Edition returns September 26-November 2, with a brand-new batch of brain busters carved into the glow of thousands of pumpkins. It’s chapter two of the ultimate fall challenge. From pop culture to historical legends, each twist in the trail brings questions that spark curiosity and fun for all ages. Don’t miss New England’s “must-see” family-friendly event of the Halloween season!
Free nightly parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with optional premium parking available. Please remember to bring along your patience— the magical experience inside is worth every moment. Pumpkin trail is open nightly from 6:00-10:30 p.m., last entry at 10:00 p.m. The Spectacular is open rain or shine, all tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a different date.
Bring Your Own Improv, WCFA Bring Your Own Improv is back for family friendly live performances every Friday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $11.63. If you’re looking for something fun to do late on a Friday night in Warwick, they’ve got you covered. Their Caffeinated Insomniacs Comedy show – designed for teens and adults – is the place to be at 10 p.m. Their show welcomes voluntary audience participation. You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you’re ready, jump up and get involved.

Conimicut Village Art Festival Come on out on Saturday, October 4 from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. for the Conimicut Village Art Festival. There will be arts and crafts for everyone, music throughout the day— featuring Mary Day 1-3, children’s activities in Donovan Park, food trucks and local village restaurants, and special afternoon entertainment by Big Nazo Puppets. Whether you’re here to get a head start on your holiday shopping, meet local artists, or simply visit Conimicut Village, we guarantee a good time. Come join us for a great fall day!
Harbor Lights Family Fun Fest Get ready for an afternoon of fall-themed family fun, food, and friendly competition at Harbor Lights this Saturday, October 4 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. Starting at noon, the whole family can enjoy bracelet making, face tattoos and lawn games, such as cornhole, Jumbo Jenga, Connect 4, and more! The lawn games contest begins at 1:00 p.m., where you can compete in teams of four at games such as a sack race, tug of war, and trivia relay. Not into contests? No problem! Board games and chill zones will be available too. Concessions will be available for purchase beginning at 11:30 a.m. This event is free and open to all. We hope to see you there!
Howl-o-ween Hike N’ Treat Join us for a Howl-o-ween Hike N’ Treat event to benefit the Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter on Saturday, October 4 starting at 2:30 p.m. This is an event for the dogs and their humans, but pups are not required to attend if your dog isn’t sociable but you still want to join in. There will be games, dog treats, human treats, a group walk for dogs and their humans, and a pet costume contest with three chances to win.
This event is free to attend. Registration required in advance to participate in the walk with a $15 donation. All proceeds will be donated to help the homeless animals at the Warwick Animal Shelter. All well behaved/friendly vaccinated dogs are welcome. We hope to see you there!
Dog Adoption Event Come find your forever furry friend. We are excited to join with Animal Talk to bring you a multi-rescue adoption event at Dogtopia Warwick on Saturday, October 4 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Lots of dogs looking for a forever home. We hope to see you there!
