DUI, Rte. 95 stop At 1:57 a.m. Sept. 6, the first of this week’s recorded Warwick arrests included Jacinia Rusco, 28, of 188 Merrimac St., New Bedford, Massachusetts, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – B.A.C unknown – First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick.
Rusco was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
DUI stop, Rte. 95 At 1:48 a.m. Sept. 9, troopers arrested Michael Gilliard Jr., 47, of 30 Buckeye Brook Road, Charlestown, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC .08-.10 – 1st Offense (Phase I: 0.92%, Phase II: 0.91%). The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in Warwick. Gilliard was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third District Court.
NK Man arrested on multiple warrants On Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at 1:25 a.m., troopers arrested Jason Dupuis, 49, of 187 Yorktown Road, North Kingstown, Rhode Island, for
1.) Fourth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Probation Violation on the original charge of Receiving Stolen Goods Under $1,500 originating out of the North Kingstown Police Department
2.) Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Probation Violation on the original charge of Receiving Stolen Goods Under $1500 originating out of the Smithfield Police Department
3.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Technical Violation on the original charge of Shoplifting Over $100 – Second Offense originating out of the Coventry Police Department
4.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Technical Violation on the original charge of Shoplifting Over $100 – Second Offense originating out of the Warwick Police Department
5.) Washington County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Technical Violation on the original charge of Shoplifting Over $100 – Second Offense originating out of the North Kingstown Police Department

Dupuis was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was held overnight pending arraignment in Third Division District Court.
Suspended license, Rte. 95 stop At 10:50 p.m. Sept. 12, troopers arrested James Sabourin, 63, of 23 Seneca Street, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving with a Suspended License – Special Circumstances.
The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in the City of Warwick. Sabourin was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute—Men’s Intake Center where he will be presented as a probation violator.
