WARWICK, RI — Come out this Warwick weekend and support two fundraising events, sing the weekend away at one of the live music events, and find a new old treasure at the flea market.
The Warwick Weekend events weather forecast promises sunny with a high near 77 Friday, sunny with a high near 79, and funny with a high near 83 Sunday, the National Weather Service reports.
Here are some events and happenings to help you decide where you’re spending this Warwick weekend:
Warwick Weekend Events Friday:
Farmers Market at Goddard Memorial State Park Support and enjoy local food and farmers! Join our weekly farmers market from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and get to know the hardworking people who grow your veggies, fruit, flowers, and favorite foods! For the first few weeks, the market mostly offers bedding plants, hanging plants, cut flowers, meat, early vegetable crops, honey, and maple syrup. As traditional local summer crops become available, additional vendors will participate.
Roger Williams Food Truck Fridays End your week at Food Truck Friday – an outdoor food truck festival at Carousel Village starting at 5 pm. Attendance is free, just pay for what you eat and drink from an ever changing rotation of more than 15 food trucks each week.
The Carousel campus has a lot of open space and rolling hills shaded by trees, the perfect spot to grab dinner from a food truck and listen to music and entertainment during the park’s Food Truck Fridays event. The outdoor food truck festival at Carousel Village starts at 5 pm. Attendance is free, just pay for what you eat and drink from an ever changing rotation of more than 15 food trucks each week.
Dinosaurs at Roger Williams Park Zoo Return of the Dinosaurs runs May 16 – Aug. 10 at Roger Williams Park Zoo & Carousel Village Come face-to-face with nearly 60 life-size animatronic and interactive dinosaurs, including 25 NEW dinosaurs debuting this year! Brave the wilderness to uncover the secrets of the dinosaurs’ return! Witness towering predators, meet curious herbivores, and discover the untold stories of these ancient giants. Get hands-on with digging up ancient fossils, enjoy photos ops with dino eggs and more.

Bring Your Own Improv, WCFA Bring Your Own Improv is back for family friendly live performances every Friday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $11.63. If you’re looking for something fun to do late on a Friday night in Warwick, they’ve got you covered. Their Caffeinated Insomniacs Comedy show – designed for teens and adults – is the place to be at 10 p.m. Their show welcomes voluntary audience participation. You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you’re ready, jump up and get involved.
Thayer Arena Public Skate Through August Fridays, Public Skate is open to skaters of all ages. Cost to Skate is $5 – Children 5 and under are free. Skate Rentals are available at Sandy Lane Sports across the street from the rink.

Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a guardian who is 18 years or older. Children ages 13-17 without an adult staying onsite must be paid for and signed in by an adult that can leave emergency contact information. Only persons wearing skates are permitted on the ice surface. Helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters.
Warwick Weekend Events Saturday:
SuperTusk at Drift Bar Join us at Drift Bar by the Pool on Saturday, August 9 and enjoy the amazing live music by SuperTusk, Show up, have some cocktails, grab a bite from our Drift Food Truck, and party the night away. The band plays from 7:00-10:00 p.m. See you there!
Pups at Par Join us at 150 Gray St., Warwick every Saturday from 12-4 p.m. for Pups at Par. Bring your well-behaved furry friends for a relaxing lunch at our scenic property. Treat yourself to delicious food while your pups explore and unwind in a pet-friendly atmosphere, where they can even enjoy some pup-friendly menu specials. Don’t miss out on the fun and a chance to make some new furry-friends.
Conimicut Village Farmers Market Come to our local farmers market every Saturday morning starting June 7 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Enjoy fresh, locally grown produce, unique handmade goods, and support small businesses in your community. It’s a great way to connect with neighbors and experience the vibrant flavors of the season.
This farmers market will take place every Saturday from June 7 to September 27.

Warwick Weekend Events Sunday:
Scoops and Sirens Join us at Apponaug Villiage Creamery on Sunday, August 10 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. for a super cool day where real Warwick Firefighters will be behind the counter scooping up your favorite ice cream. We’re raising money for our furry pals at Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter. All tips will go directly to the animal shelter and we’re donating 10% of all sales from the day too. It’s ice cream, it’s firefighters, and it’s for a paw-some cause. Bring the kids, bring your sweet tooth, and let’s make this a day to remember!
Rock ‘N’ Jock Charities Night of Entertainment Come out on Sunday, August 10 and enjoy an evening of live performances including Steve Smith and the Nakeds, The Voice Finalist Billy Gilman, and more to be determined starting at 6:00-11:00 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Pavillion. All proceeds to benefit A Wish Come True and Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA). Doors open at 5:30 p.m. All tickets are $35 in advance or at the door. We hope to see you there!
Flea and Warehouse Tour The Warwick-based non-profit Rhode Island Computer Museum is holding a Warehouse Tour and Flea Market this Sunday, August 10 from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at 310 Compass Circle. No experience necessary— join them for the experience and leave with a new old treasure. Suggested donation is $5.
The organization, established in 1999, is dedicated to STEM and STEAM learning, new technology, and preserving the history of vintage computers and digital technology. The museum itself is located at 1755 Bald Hill Road and features a Learning Labs and display space where visitors can explore a fascinating collection of hardware, software, and artifacts spanning decades.RICM’s mission is to be a “Knowledge Center to inspire young people for the future workforce by saving old and new technology.” The museum offers hands-on learning opportunities, including programming and robotics workshops, making it a hub for tech enthusiasts and students.
