WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the RI Trooper Log  – June 1 -8 involved charges for DUI, missed court hearings and felony assault.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police Warwick arrests:

Rt.e 95 stop, DUI charge At 11:15 p.m. June 1, troopers arrested Mitchell Roberts, 33, of 179 Boombridge Road, North Stonington, Connecticut, for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense, and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95, in the City of Warwick. Mr. Roberts was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Missed court, suspended license charge On Saturday, June 1 at 10:37 p.m., troopers arrested Katrina Kearns, 34 of 17 Clinton Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island for a Third District Court Bench Warrants for Failure to Appear for Pre-trial Conference on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended license originating from the Cranston Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Putnam Pike, in the Town of Smithfield. Kearns was processed at State Police Headquarters and turned over to the ACI- Women’s Intake center.

Rte. 6 stop, DUI charge At 12 :03 p.m. June 3, troopers arrested Donna Bennett, 45, of 25 Village Ct., West Warwick, RI for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Controlled Substance/Drugs/Toluene – First Offense 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test -1st Offense 3) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Possession of Schedule I-IV originating out of Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle crash investigation which occurred on Rte. 6 in Johnston. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed and held as a bail violator.

Felony Assault, Road Rage On Tuesday June 4, at 12:30 p.m., troopers arrested Devon Owens, 35, of 114 Magnolia St., Cranston, Rhode Island, for Felony Assault by Use of Devices Similar in Appearance to a Firearm.

The arrest was the result of a road rage incident on Rte. 95 South and subsequent motor vehicle stop by the Warwick Police Department on Warwick Avenue in the City of Warwick. Owens was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI charge At 12:37 a.m. June 7, troopers arrested Radley Emile, 33, of 77 Temi Road, Brockton, Massachusetts, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Emile was transported to State Police Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to a responsible adult.
