The 2025 event is introducing the **Captain’s Log Team Challenge**, where attendees are randomly assigned to one of four teams—Carpenters, Cooks, Gunners, or Surgeons. Teams compete collectively to earn the most points, with additional challenges and opportunities for bonus points enhancing the competitive spirit.
The event is organized by a group of five long-time gamers under New England Privateers, LLC, who bring decades of experience in the gaming industry to create a welcoming and engaging event for the gaming community.
