The Partnership to Reduce Cancer in Rhode Island invites you to join us at our 2023 Rhode Island Cancer Summit. Dr. Janet de Moor, PhD, MPH, Deputy Associate Director of the Healthcare Delivery Research Program at National Cancer Institute will be providing updates on what is being done to address cancer-related financial toxicity at the national level. Our keynote presenter is Dr. S. Vincent Rajkumar, Professor of Medicine, Division of Hematology at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Rajkumar will discuss his research related to financial toxicity related to clinical trials. The 2023 Summit will also feature two panels, one highlighting the experiences of a cancer patient facing financial toxicity after their cancer diagnosis and the other being a call to action on what we can do at the state level to address this issue.
