RI Trooper Log: Warrants for Shoplifting, Missing Court; More Warrants

Warwick, RI – Rhode Island State Police activity in and involving Warwick this week included two arrests on single warrants for missing court on a crank call charge and for shoplifting, as well as for a Coventry man wanted on multiple warrants.

Trooper arrests man for missing court on crank call charge At 10:50 a.m. Jan. 10, a trooper arrested Anthony King-Goddard, 26, of 169 Park Ave., Woonsocket for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Technical Violation Hearing on the charge of Domestic Crank or Obscene Phone Calls originating from the Pawtucket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to Sixth District Court.

On Tuesday Jan. 10, at 11 a.m., troopers arrested Luis Ney Pena Gonzalez, 38, of 14 Croyland Road, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1) Presenting False Documents to a Public Official 2) Possession of False Documents.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

Troopers arrest Cranston wanted for shoplifting by WPD On Jan. 10, members of the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force apprehended Jessica Gianfrancesco, 29, of 128 Garden St., Cranston, RI, on one active Affidavit Arrest Warrant from Warwick Police for Shoplifting. Gianfrancesco was turned over to members of the Warwick Police Department.

Troopers apprehend Coventry man wanted on multiple warrants On Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 10:20 a.m., troopers arrested Charles Palardy, 38, of 119 Gervais St., Coventry, RI on a 1.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the initial charge of Larceny – Over $1,500 originating out of the Cranston Police Department, 2.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the initial charge of Possession of Schedule I-V originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 3.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the initial charge of Domestic Simple Assault – 3rd Offense originating out of the Coventry Police Department, 4.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Payment on the initial charge of Larceny – Over $1,500 originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department and 5.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution on the initial charge of Breaking and Entering originating out of the Cranston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and turned over to Kent County Superior Court.
