Warwick, RI – This week’s Rhode Island State Police activity in and nearby Warwick involved arrests stemming from traffic stops on local roads and Rte. 95, including two DUI charges:

Traffic stop ends with warrant arrest of driver At 10:47 a.m. Sept. 26, troopers arrested Timothy T. Diffley, 33, of 15 Ball Ave., West Warwick, for 1.) Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing, on an initial charge of Driving with Suspended License originating out of the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in Warwick. Diffley was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace then released after posting cash bail.

Rte. 95 stop leads to DUI arrest At 11:05 p.m. Sept. 26, troopers arrested Edgardo Gonzalez, 33, of 53 Yorktown Road, North Kingstown, RI for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor/Drugs-BAC Unknown- Second Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

Troopers make DUI arrest on Toll Gate Road At 1:01 a.m., Sept. 26, troopers arrested Justin Jett, 37, of 25 Eighth Street, East Providence, RI for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor/Drugs-BAC .15 or Greater- I (.206) II (.204).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Toll Gate Road in the City of Warwick. Jett was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
