RI Trooper Log: DUI, Child Porn, Heroin, Oxycodone Possession

Warwick, RI – Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI area arrests were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

Lincoln Woods Barracks –  At 6:48 p.m. Dec. 30, troopers arrested Keith Dias, 43, of 122 Glen Drive, Warwick, RI for 1.)Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and or Drugs- Second Offense- While License is Suspended for DUI 2.) Operating on a Suspended License – Certain Circumstances.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Providence. Dias was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

Detectives – On Dec. 29, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Joseph Bradshaw,  27, of 295 Love Lane, Warwick, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession of Child Pornography; and 2) Transfer of Child Pornography.

Bradshaw was processed at the Wickford Barracks, transported to Third Division District Court and arraigned before the Honorable Judge Capraro. Bradshaw was released on $10,000 personal recognizance with special conditions restricting his contact with children under the age of eighteen and Internet access.

Wickford Barracks – On Friday Jan. 2, at 10:59 a.m., troopers arrested Evelinda Zucco, 37, of 20 Pennsylvania Ave. Providence, for: 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Illegal Use of Credit Cards originating out of the Cranston Police Department and 2.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Exploitation of Elders originating out of the East Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in Warwick. Zucco was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later turned over to the Cranston Police Department.

Wickford Barracks – On Friday Jan. 2, at 2 p.m., troopers arrested Cecily Ballou, 24, of 101 Langdon St. Providence, for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Schedule I-V (Heroin).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

Lincoln Barracks – at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 3, troopers arrested Nicholas McNeil, 18, of 16 Doyle Road, Waterford, CT for 1) Possession of Schedule II (Oxycodone) and 2) Weapons other than Firearms prohibited.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North, in Warwick. McNeil was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed and transported to Third District Court.
