Warwick, RI – State Police arrests involving residents and stops in and Warwick this week resulted in charges for missing court on a drug possession charge, one man’s arrest on several warrants including reckless driving, hit and run and eluding, and one arrest for obstructing justice.

Pawtucket woman arrested for missing court on drug charge On Feb. 1, members of the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Jennifer Santos, 35, of 112 Pidge Ave., Pawtucket, RI, on a Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Determination of Attorney on an original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V from the Warwick Police Department.

Santos was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and turned over to officials at Kent County Superior Court.

Coventry man arrested on multiple warrants At 7:45 p.m. Feb. 3, troopers arrested Shane Mottram, 46, of 18 Paige Drive, Coventry, Rhode Island for 1.) Affidavit-Arrest Warrant from the Lincoln Woods Barracks for Duty to Stop-Attended Vehicle and Driving with a Suspended License, 2.) Affidavit-Arrest Warrant from the Hope Valley Barracks for Reckless Driving-Eluding, Obstructing an Officer, and Driving with a Suspended License, 3.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant-Failure to Appear Violator on an original charge of Possession of Schedule I to V from the Warwick Police, 4.) Affidavit-Arrest Warrant from the Coventry Police for Eluding an Officer in a High Speed Pursuit, Obstructing an Officer, and Driving with a Suspended License and 5.) Affidavit-Arrest Warrant from the North Kingstown Police for Shoplifting.

The arrest was the result of a warrant check after a Barracks investigation. Mottram was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held for morning arraignment.

Warwick woman arrested on obstruction charge At 7:45 p.m. Feb. 3, troopers arrested Debra Hopkins, 36, of 113 Pender Ave., Warwick, RI for Obstruction of Justice. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and warrant check.

Hopkins was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed and released after a Justice of the Peace arraignment.
